Technique:
Multiple sonographic images of the transplanted liver were assessed for gray scale appearance and color doppler flow.


Findings:

The transplanted liver is normal in size and echogenicity.

No perihepatic fluid collections is identified.

No ascites is present.

The common, right and left hepatic arteries are also patent and without evidence of stenosis. Intrahepatic resistive indices range from ____ to ____ (Normal RI 0.55- 0.8, less than 0.5 is concerning for stenosis).

The portal and hepatic veins have normal directional flow with no evidence of stenosis.

The hepatic veins are patent and without evidence of stenosis. Normal direction


Impression:

1. Normal sonographic appearance of the transplanted liver.
